We generally only offer stays of minimum 2 nights so that you can fully enjoy all that Westlea and Ullapool have to offer although gaps in between bookings do allow us to offer one night stays also. We constantly update our booking system to enable you to book these.

Please note that the Highlands is one of the least populated places in Northern Europe so you may not find all the amenities and brands you are used to, that is part of it's charm.

Westlea House offers stylish Boutique bed & breakfast accommodation within the conservation area of Ullapool. It has been transformed by Terry and Shirley Rose having five stylish and comfortable themed bedrooms, a welcoming guest’s lounge and dining area, wet room, lockable shed for bikes and off street parking.

We have doubles, a twin, a triple and  single room so cater for all group sizes. We also accept payment via most cards.

Single room starts from as little as £69 and all room rates include a quality breakfast so no need for you to cook or walk around trying to find somewhere to eat.

Perfectly located in a quiet cherry tree lined street just back from the harbour front, the house is an easy stroll to all the restaurants, bars, shops and amenities that Ullapool offers.

The five guest rooms have been carefully planned to ensure that guests are able to relax in spacious bedrooms, each having a different style. All have luxurious en-suite facilities with powerful showers. Two luxury rooms enable the guests to soak away their aches in the freestanding Victorian- style slipper bath, whilst enjoying the views of the distant hills and mountains, perfect for a romantic getaway , wedding night or soaking away the pains of a strenuous day.

All rooms have large,wonderfully comfortable beds, luxury Egyptian cotton bedding, beautiful furnishings, local art, free wi-fi access, tv and tea and fresh coffee making facilities.

The stylish guest’s lounge, complete with contemporary Aga wood burner, separate seating areas, art, books and vinyl records will entice guests out of their rooms. The open plan dining area serves as the breakfast area but also allows guests to eat or drink their own food and beverages at other times. The spacious ground floor area can also be used by groups for activities during their stay.

On arrival you will be offered fresh coffee or tea and locally made biscuits.

You are spoilt for choice at breakfast time, being able to choose from a traditional Scottish cooked breakfast using local award winning ingredients,homemade cold offerings, local specialities or vegetarian options.

Ullapool is centrally located in the centre of the Highlands on the shore of Loch Broom. It provides easy access to this beautiful region and whilst it is located on the west coast, the east and north coastlines can both be reached within 1hr 30mins. It is the perfect base to explore this beautiful region no matter if you are on foot, cycling,motorbike or touring in your car or camper van.You will be surprised by how much there is to do in this wonderful place.

It is also the perfect stop over before catching the ferry to the Outer Hebrides.
